This week, one of our clients received the fantastic all of his charges being withdrawn.

The client was charged with four offences relating to the assault and intimidation of police officers. He attended the Streeton offices and met with Adam Faro and Maxine Malaney, where he denied he had committed the offences alleged against him.

After taking steps to secure critical CCTV evidence, we entered pleas of “not guilty” to all charges on the client’s behalf. We then entered into negotiations with the police, requesting that all charges be withdrawn on the basis that they were contradicted by the evidence, and that police had violated their police powers by arresting our client.

Ultimately, the prosecution conceded that all charges should be withdrawn without the need to proceed to a hearing. Our client was naturally relieved and thrilled to have his life back.
