Just a reminder to all NSW drivers, as of 1 December, 45 new cameras with mobile phone detection technology come into effect.

Unlike speed cameras, there will not be any warning signs and the location of these cameras is unknown.

While warning letters will be issued to drivers for the first three months, detection could lead to a loss of up to 5 demerits points and a fine of $344 or $457 in a school zone.
