Accredited by the Law Society of NSW as a Specialist in Criminal Law, Justin has acted in some of the most serious and high profile criminal prosecutions including large commercial drug supply offences, murder, attempted murder, sexual assault, passport and identity fraud and importation offences.
Justin was rated by his peers as one of only 6 preeminent criminal lawyers in Australia, in the 2017 Doyles Legal Guide. Justin has appeared for clients at ICAC. Justin was previously a Senior Criminal Lawyer at Sydney’s largest criminal defence firm. Earlier, he was a lawyer with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, prosecuting large drug importation and supply syndicates as well as fraud offences (including Centrelink fraud), child pornography, money laundering and Customs importation offences.
In addition to the larger District Court work, Justin appears on a daily basis in the Local Court, defending people charged with traffic related offences, assaults, drug offences, fraud and domestic violence or AVO related matters. He also appears in the Children’s Court. Justin lectures at the Traffic Offenders Program.
Having both prosecuted and defended state and federal criminal matters over a number of years, Justin brings a wealth of unique experience to each matter.

Zoe combines an outstanding intellect with a genuine passion for criminal law when assisting her clients. She appears for people charged with offences ranging from serious District and Supreme Court matters, to Local Court criminal and traffic charges.
Graduating in law from the University of Newcastle, Zoe was awarded for her outstanding performance in criminal advocacy. She also has a degree in psychology with distinction. Previously, Zoe worked on one of the largest murder trials in NSW.
A high achiever, Zoe is a four time national representative in swimming and an Australian Gold Medallist.

Graduating in law from the University of Technology with first class honours and distinction, Mikaela brings a diverse and unique background to her practice of criminal law.
A keen advocate, Mikaela represents clients charged with a range of offences in the Local, District and Supreme Court. Previously, Mikaela worked on some of New South Wales most serious criminal trials with one of Sydney’s leading criminal barristers. She has also interned at the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission.
An accomplished sportswoman, Mikaela has played netball at state league level both in Australia and the United Kingdom and captained university teams on a national level.
- Maxine Malaney

Maxine attended the University of Sydney, combining her study of law with a degree in government and international relations.
Maxine appears in a wide variety of matters, ranging from traffic infringements to serious criminal offences.
She has worked closely with barristers from several of Sydney’s top criminal chambers on matters such as drug importation and manufacture, sexual assault, murder and financial crime. With an outstanding legal mind, Maxine has also worked with some of Australia’s leading researchers on issues including joint criminal enterprise and child sexual assault.
Outside of the law, Maxine has sailed in three national championships.
